If someone is experiencing symptoms like chest pain/tightness, difficulty breathing, cold sweats, or pain radiating to the arm or jaw: Call for emergency medical help immediately—dial 112 in India or contact a local ambulance service. Help the person sit down and rest; do not let them walk or climb stairs. Loosen any tight clothing. If the person is conscious, do not administer new medications without instructions from a doctor or emergency personnel. Specifically, giving aspirin is not safe for everyone (due to potential issues like allergies or bleeding risks). If the person loses consciousness and is not breathing normally, start CPR immediately and use an AED if available. Do not offer food or water, and do not wait to see if the pain subsides.
